SIGMA Contact Transducers are designed to provide wide use for testing where the part to be inspected is generally flat. SIGMA Contact Transducers are fabricated in stainless steel cases, with Aluminum Oxide epoxy wear faces. This sturdy construction will provide long life under the toughest conditions.

Available variations to SIGMA Contact Transducers include radiused surfaces for maximum coupling to pipes, and ground focused chips with compensating wear faces (lenses that allow flat or radiused operation). Focusing is limited by near field.
SIGMA Contact Transducers are available in three standard types:

MINIATURE-.38 to .75 inches in diameter X .75" long

·         ELEMENT SIZE-.125 to .50 inch diameter

·         FREQUENCY-1.0 to 10MHz

·         CONNECTOR-Lemo 01 or Microdot

STANDARD-.75 to 1.25 inches diameter X 1.25" long

·         ELEMENT SIZE-.50 to 1.00 inches in diameter

·         FREQUENCY-.50 to 10MHz

·         CONNECTOR-BNC

THREADED FOR DELAY LINE
